Useful information to help parents.

PARENT/CENTER COMMUNICATION
Parent-Teacher Conversations: If you have any concerns, you may visit your child’s teacher and talk to him/her or you can drop a note at our office to request for a meeting, a callback, or any response.

We request all parents to escort their children to their respective classrooms. During this time, you can share a few words with your child’s teacher or arrange a separate time to discuss your concerns. We also hold parent-teacher conferences at least twice a year so you can bring up your questions or concerns. When scheduling a meeting with a teacher, please take note that we close at 6:00 P.M.

ALL SAINTS INFORMATION BOARD
Located in the Preschool Hall in the Front Lobby, this board will have information about what is happening in the center.

DAILY REPORTS/WEEKLY REPORTS
Daily Reports are given for Nursery and Toddler halls. Weekly reports are for the Preschool Hall. This report is designed to give you a quick glimpse into how your child is doing.

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
All Saints put out a monthly newsletter that houses a ton of information for our families.

FRIDAY FOLDERS
Every child will have a folder to hold all flyers and school information that need to go home weekly.

SCHOOL NOTICES
Information concerning school events, fundraising, field trips, etc will be handed out to you in your child’s classroom and also e-mailed to the address we have on file.

PARENT BULLETIN BOARD
We have a bulletin board where parents can view and read the information that we post. Parents are highly encouraged to take time and scan the board to keep themselves updated with the happenings in the center and/or any announcements that will be posted. Weekly lesson plans and monthly plans will also be posted for viewing.

CENTER EVALUATION
Parents will be given the opportunity on an annual basis to evaluate the center, its program and our ability to meet your special needs. These are very important to us. Please take the time to fill it in when it’s received.

ASSESSING YOUR CHILD’S DEVELOPMENT
We will observe your child throughout the year to assess their development, physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively, creatively, and language skills. Three times a year, a “Child’s Skills Checklist” will be done. This information will provide the basis for parent-teacher conferences held in October and May each year. Conferences can be held at any time if either parent or teacher requests one.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Teachers will offer parent conferences on an annual basis. Your child’s teacher will observe your child and assess their level of development prior to this conference. The conferences we hold are opportunities for you to sit down with your child’s teacher and discuss your concerns about your child in depth. The center or a parent can request a conference at any other time throughout the year if there are any special concerns.

Parent-Teacher conferences are held in the Fall, Winter, and Spring and at other times if requested by parents or teachers. Conferences are a time when information concerning the child’s activities, needs and progress can be exchanged. The facility is also available for additional conferences throughout the year at the parent’s request. Since it is necessary for the teachers to devote their time during the school-day to the children, we ask that you please set a conference appointment if you need to confer with a teacher at length.

Parent visits during the school hours are welcomed and encouraged, there are many opportunities during the year for parents to help in projects and field trips. Sometimes it can be very helpful all around to plan your classroom visit with the teachers, but of course, you are welcome to visit anytime you wish.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Board Member
If you are interested in becoming a board member, please see the Receptionist at the front desk, and she will forward your request to the Board of Directors.

Home Room Parent
Parents work with the classroom teachers to coordinate special events, classroom participation, and holiday parties. Home Room Parents are a vital communication link to other classroom parents. Children love to know their parents have helped make their school year extra special.

Trunk-or-Treat
This is our Halloween celebration! Parents park their cars in the circle drive-thru, decorate their trunks and hand out candy to the children and adults. It is great fun for the kids to see the parents and even more fun for parents to see all the wonderful costumes! Bring your camera….this one is fun for everyone to be involved in!

Celebrity Reader
Parents, grandparents, and local celebrities are encouraged to come to All Saints and read to the children and adults. Some dress up to make the day even more special. This is a special treat that everyone enjoys!

Teacher/Staff Appreciation
Parents make this a special week for the teachers and staff by having special events each day.

We are open to all who want to volunteer.
